Aw… so tiny! Like its big brother, the 3D Grandfather Clock – 1:12 Scale, this is laser-cut from chipboard and super easy to put together (with just a bit of white glue).
With the deep area in the top cubby, this is more like a shadowbox shaped like a clock than a standard grandfather clock. Includes a drawer at the bottom, a tall door in the middle section (with an inset you can glue in place for a solid door or omit completely for a frame with a window in the middle), and a cut-out in the top section for a secret compartment behind the clock face.
Hint: you can use a ball-end straight pin (cutting off the excess length) for a drawer pull.
(See the 3D Grandfather Clock – 1:12 Scale page for artwork ideas AND a link to a blog post with tips on construction.)
Also shown with the Bookshelf with Drawers – 1:24.
Stands 3-3/4″ tall. This is in 1/2″ scale (1:24).
Note: this will ship in a flat sheet: almost completely cut out, save a tiny (1/8″) spot that you can snip with scissors or a sharp blade. Keeps all the pointy details from being banged up during transit.
