Sweet! A kit to put together a 3D clock (in 1:12 dollhouse scale), with lots of options (like using clear plastic for the inset/cut-out in the tall door as faux glass, so you can see a pendulum or a miniature scene inside). This clock is 7-1/2″ tall. See photo for a comparison with a larger version of this 3D (also linked below).
For tips on construction, see the Moonlight Serenade 3D Grandfather Clock blog post by Laura Carson.
Includes a drawer at the bottom, a tall door in the middle section (with an inset you can glue in place for a solid door or omit completely for a frame with a window in the middle), and a cut-out in the top section for a secret compartment behind the clock face.
Laser-cut heavy chipboard (with thinner chipboard for the overlay trim for the top). Ships flat but a breeze to put together with the slots and tabs precut (you’ll just need to secure with a bit of white glue).
Note: the Grandfather Small Clock Facade Half Sheet (linked below) is designed to fit this size clock (the images fit the tall pendulum door and the inset shaped “door” at the top where the clock face is — not the entire facade of the clock). See the Steampunk Explorer’s Study artwork below.
Sold individually (a set to build one clock).
